A huge congratulations to Eddie S who has been selected for the England U16 boys' initial assessment day.
This fantastic achievement comes after a highly competitive and rigorous selection process. Following the Talent Academy Cup, England Age Group coaches and scouts carefully observed all matches, conducted dedicated goalkeeper assessments, and held detailed discussions with Talent Academy coaches. The England Hockey Age Group management teams have now selected players to progress to the initial assessment phase for the England U18 and U16 squads, which will take place in August and September 2025 respectively.
Eddie will be joined by players selected through the England Age Group Open Assessments, which were held in May and July after nominations from club, school, and county coaches. The selection process was incredibly competitive, and the coaches invested significant time and consideration into every decision.
This is a true testament to Eddie's hard work, and everyone at the club wishes him all the very best at the upcoming assessment.
