An exciting playing and coaching opportunity

Posted by Jon Woodrow on 25 July 2016

This would suit a gap year student looking for experience or someone looking to pursue a career in teaching and/or coaching. The right person will become a member of Telford and Wrekin Hockey Club and play in the men’s first team and help coach the club’s juniors.

In addition, they would live in at the school and assist with the coaching of the girls and boys teams as required, as well as undertaking a teaching assistant role within the PE Department. All accommodation and meals will be provided and a negotiable salary for the most suitable candidate. There will also be an opportunity for some additional paid coaching.

Telford & Wrekin Hockey Club are a progressive, forward looking club playing in the Midlands Men’s Hockey League with previous National League experience. We have our own pitch and clubhouse facilities.

We have a strong coaching set up for senior and junior players and boast a number of current and former internationals.
