Are you having problems receiving emails from us?
Some members have reported that they have not been receiving emails sent from this website. These emails include:-
- Important information regarding club events
- Match Selections
- Changes to Training Times
It's likely when this happens that the email has been classified as Spam or Junk by your Email Provider. All email providers have their own unique way of classifiying if an email is Spam or not. We now have over 250 email subscribers in our database and as a lot of people will share the same ESP (ie @aol.com or @hotmail.com) this increases the chances that are emails are classified as Spam even though they aren't!
The solution is to ensure that the email address we send our emails from is added to your 'Safe Senders List' or 'Whitelist'.
All emails we send will be addressed as follows
From Name : Telford & Wrekin Hockey Club
From Email Address : email@example.com
You therefore need to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your Safe Senders List. There are hundreds of email clients available but you can read this article to view the steps you need to follow for some of the more common email clients.
If the email client you are using is not listed or you are still having problems receiving emails please fill out a General Enquiry form and someone will contact you about this ASAP.
